At this annual three day ultrasound meeting, faculty will cover first trimester anomalies as well as the most common anomalies diagnosed today with ultrasound in the second and third trimesters. A particular focus on prenatal diagnosis of congenital heart disease for screeners will be given by cardiac specialists. You’ll also learn the basics in assessing pregnancies at risk for morbidly adherent placenta (accreta spectrum) since it is now 1:200 pregnancies. Gynecological ultrasound will include ultrasound of endometrium, pelvic pain and pelvic floor. A live scanning segment will show tips on obtaining cardiac and outflow tracts (with color Doppler) as well as tips on scanning brain anatomy, the lower uterine segment and getting optimal doppler images.

Target Audience

Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse midwives, nurses, sonographers and radiologic technologists who work in a clinical setting using maternal-fetal ultrasound for diagnosis and screening.
